Coeur d’Alene Wood’s products are made from real wood, not a manufactured imitation.  Wood is a natural resource and will often contain naturally-occurring variations in color, texture, grain patterns, mineral streaks, pinholes and knots within the raw wood itself.  Showroom samples and photographic reproductions are a way to give the client a better idea of the overall look of the final product, but they do not to show an exact replica of the wood’s characteristics.  The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular style.


Boards can vary in appearance from piece to piece and even within a piece.  The opposite face and edges can differ from the featured face in texture, coloring, and other characteristics unless otherwise noted.



Most orders will require deposit to initiate processing, with the balance being due prior to shipment.


With the exception of the limited protection specifically provided herein, all Coeur d’Alene Wood products are sold as-is, with no warranties express or implied.  Coeur d’Alene wood makes no warranties or representations relative to the fitness of its products for a particular use or in a particular location.  Coeur d’Alene Wood further makes no representations about likely yield percentages or waste factors for your use/application. It is your responsibility to verify the suitability of Coeur d’Alene Wood products for your project and to determine appropriate quantities to order to account for yield/waste issues.

There will be absolutely no refunds for labor costs reimbursements and under no condition will Coeur d’Alene Wood be responsible for any work, construction or usage of any products sold by Coeur d’Alene Wood.


Clients shall pay all shipping charges and any additional charges for special packaging requested.  Delivery terms are FOB (see below).  Delivery times are estimated and are not guaranteed. Shipping is subject to unavoidable delays caused by material shortages, strikes, accidents, or other causes beyond the control of Coeur d’Alene Wood.  Deposits will not be refunded if the product is returned or service is declined.


Delivery terms are FOB.  The delivery of the order to the freight carrier constitutes a transfer to Client of title, ownership, and possession of the products ordered. The risk of loss for the products shall pass to Client upon delivery of the order to the freight carrier. Clients may purchase shipping insurance directly from the freight carrier and upon request Coeur d’Alene Wood will obtain a quote. Coeur d’Alene will arrange for shipping the ordered products with a commercial freight carrier as a courtesy, but Clients are welcome to make their own shipping arrangements if they so choose. If Clients arrange their own shipping they must pay for the shipment separately and to the freight carrier directly. As a courtesy, Coeur d’Alene Wood can retrieve shipping quotes on a Client’s behalf; however the Client is always responsible for the shipping payment.  Coeur d’Alene Wood recommends that Clients arrange to have the appropriate assistance and equipment available to move the order at the time of the delivery.


Although Coeur d’Alene Wood products are visually inspected by Coeur d’Alene Wood, the Client must check for damages or missing items and let Coeur d’Alene Wood know of any concerns within three days of receipt.

If, at the time of shipment, a product is materially different (excluding naturally occurring variations in color) from what is described on a signed proposal, invoice or sales order referenced thereby and Coeur d’Alene Wood is notified of the problem within 3 days of receipt of pickup or receipt of shipment, Coeur d’Alene Wood will, at Client’s option:

  1. Replace the product that does not conform to the proposal, invoice or sales order or
  2. Refund the purchase price of the product that does not conform to the proposal, invoice or sales order.

Products cannot be returned more than 10 days after shipment.

Products that have been processed or altered in any way after being received cannot be returned.

Coeur d’Alene Wood accepts no liability or responsibility for rejected and/or defective products other than the above-mentioned replacement of product or refund of purchase price.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your replacement or refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a number of days.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return your item.  Shipping costs are non-refundable.


The laws of the State of Idaho shall govern these terms and of any action concerning these terms shall be brought in the County of Kootenai, State of Idaho. The parties to this Agreement have the authority to enter into this Agreement. If any part of this Agreement is declared void the remaining parts shall be valid.
